In 2011, David Johannesson built a Smålandsvilla on one and a half levels in Sölvesborg. The villa, which is 200 square meters, got both a wood stove and an exhaust air heat pump that uses the energy of the indoor air to heat the house at a low cost.
Like so many others, David discovered that the air source heat pump failed to distribute the heat to the whole house. In the winter months, it could be up to four degrees colder upstairs. To get the heat up to the upper floor, David tried to fire more but the heat stayed in the stairs and instead there was a sauna effect downstairs.
"The heat stopped in the stairs, it stopped completely."
David searched for a solution to the problem and came into contact with Airmove's consultancy. They suggested that he install the Airmove 2.0 heat mover that circulates the heat between the floors. After some time, he ordered it through Byggmax, which is a dealer, and he did the assembly himself. According to David, the installation was easy, he had watched the Airmove installation video on YouTube and then followed the installation instructions.
After the installation of Airmove 2.0, the temperature difference between the floors has decreased and there is no longer a sauna effect downstairs when David fires. He says that he is satisfied with the way Airmove works and believes that it is a really good product. This winter, he also hopes to be able to lower energy costs as he can reduce the power of the air source heat pump.
“Airmove is a great product!”
After some time, David had problems with an adapter in the wall, whereupon he contacted Airmove. The very same day they sent a new adapter which was also easy to install. According to David, it feels very safe to know that he can quickly get warranty help from Airmove.
