Installation of Airmove 2.0 – Step by Step

Airmove 2.0 is an air circulator that evens out the temperature between floors. By moving the air between upper and lower floors, a more comfortable indoor climate and more energy-efficient heating are created.

Assembly instructions – How to install Airmove 2.0

1. Prepare the installation

•Check that electricity, water and wall studs are not in the way of the installation.•If in doubt, contact a professional installer.

2. Mark and drill the center hole

1. Measure at least 135x135 mm from wall to wall for placement. 2. Drill a through 6-8 mm center hole. 3. Check that the center hole is placed at least 80 mm from the ceiling cornice on the lower level to make room for the lower grille.

3. Saw out the hole in the floor/ceiling

1. Mark a 160x160 mm square hole around the center hole. 2. Drill holes in the corners and cut out the opening with a jigsaw. 3. If there is floor insulation, cut away an appropriate amount to create space.

4. Drill holes for the adapter cable

•Drill a 6 mm hole at the skirting board for the adapter cable.

5. Saw through the intermediate floor

•Use a 127 mm hole saw with a center drill to cut through the ceiling on the lower level. •If there are intermediate ceilings, use a 130 mm hole saw to fit the ventilation shaft.

6. Install the ventilation drum

6.1.Pull the adapter cable down through the 6 mm hole at the skirting board and up through the 160x160 mm hole.

6.2. Measure the depth of the floor and adjust the length of the ventilation duct if necessary.

6.3.Fit the ventilation drum into the 127 mm hole.

7. Install the fan housing assembly

7.1.Install the lower grille on the underside.

7.2.Fill in insulation around the ventilation duct.

7.3.Connect the adapter cable to the fan housing unit: red to red, black to black.

7.4.Fit the fan housing unit into the 160x160 mm hole and the ventilation drum.

7.5.Screw the fan housing unit to the floor.

8. Connect and adjust the speed

•Connect the power adapter to the electrical outlet.

•Select speed:9V (M) for normal operation.
