Martin Ögren and his family have been living in a chain house in Avesta for 14 years. The house was built in 1977 and originally had mechanical exhaust air, electric radiators and a stove. Already in the first year, however, the family bought an air/air heat pump as a supplement.
Pretty soon, Martin discovered that the heat from the stove remained in the living room and had difficulty spreading to the upper floor. Nor could the heat from the air source heat pump rise, even though it was installed near the stairs. Martin says that the air was completely still in the house and that they could have temperature differences of more than five degrees between the floors. When they fired a lot in the stove it was sometimes 25 degrees on the ground floor but still only 18 degrees upstairs.
The air stood completely still in the house.
The solution was the heat mover Airmove 2.0. Martin wanted to be sure that the installation would be correct so he enlisted the help of personnel from Airmove who handled the assembly. Since then, Martin believes that the heat from both the stove and the air source heat pump has circulated around the house and created a more even and comfortable room temperature throughout the house. Thanks to Airmove 2.0 having circulated the heat in the house for more than ten years, Martin says that he has not had to fire as much in the stove and thus has made some savings on the purchase of wood.
Roof installation
Although Martin has had his Airmove installed for a long time, he has never had any problems with it. At one point, however, he thought it was broken when he got home and felt the air stand still. When he investigated, he discovered that a desk leg had accidentally pressed down on the grille, stopping the fan. As soon as he picked up the grill, the fan started up again, which made Martin realize that it must be good quality of the fan that hadn't broken.
“Airmove works perfectly. We are very pleased.”
