When fire eater and Guinness world record holder Fredrik Karlsson moved to a log house in Fagersta, the ventilation in the house was the first thing he wanted to fix. There were large temperature differences between the lower and upper floors, up to 8-10 degrees at most, which gave the feeling of a "lid" in the stairwell. In addition, Fredrik felt that there was bad air in the house and that it was completely still. He therefore contacted Airmove and asked them to come and check the air quality. It turned out that Fredrik both had high levels of carbon dioxide in the indoor air due to poor air flow and that the air did not circulate between the floors.
"The air quality in the house was really bad, especially upstairs."
Airmove replaced the fan in the bathroom with one Airmove Flow with continuous operation that provided a smoother air flow and a better air quality in the house. They also installed the heat exchanger Airmove 2.0 between the kitchen and the staircase that created air circulation between the floors and evened out the temperature differences in the house. In addition, they replaced the old filters in Fredrik's existing valves because they were completely clogged.
Afterwards, there was a considerable difference, says Fredrik. Above all, the quality of the air became so much better thanks to the bathroom fan that replaces the air all the time. In addition, the temperature difference between the floors is now at most one degree thanks to the heat exchanger.
According to Fredrik, the installation was quick and easy and he found Airmove to be very professional and knowledgeable. Considering how simple it was and how big a difference it made in the house, he also recommends others to review their ventilation and how it affects them.
"People feel much better after having fresh air circulating."
