Even fire-eaters need fresh air

When fire-eater and Guinness World Record holder Fredrik Karlsson moved to a log house in Fagersta, the first thing he wanted to fix was the ventilation in the house. There were significant temperature differences between the lower and upper floors, up to 8-10 degrees Celsius at most, which created a feeling of a "lid" in the stairwell. Furthermore, Fredrik felt that the air in the house was poor and completely stagnant. He therefore contacted Airmove and asked them to come and check the air quality. It turned out that Fredrik had high carbon dioxide levels in the indoor air due to poor airflow and that the air was not circulating between the floors.

"The air quality in the house was really bad, especially on the upper floor."

Airmove replaced the fan in the bathroom with an Airmove Flow with continuous operation, which provided a more even airflow and better air quality in the house. They also installed the heat transfer unit Airmove 2.0 between the kitchen and the stairwell, which created air circulation between the floors and evened out the temperature differences in the house. In addition, they replaced the old filters in Fredrik's existing vents as they were completely clogged.

Afterward, Fredrik states that there was a considerable difference. Most notably, the air quality improved so much thanks to the bathroom fan, which constantly circulates the air. Furthermore, the temperature difference between the floors is now at most one degree thanks to the heat transfer unit.

According to Fredrik, the installation was quick and smooth, and he found Airmove to be very professional and knowledgeable. Given how easy it was and how much difference it made in the house, he recommends others to review their ventilation and how it affects them.

"People feel much better with fresh, circulating air."
