Airmove Installation Example: A typical 70s villa
Let's take a simple example of a normal 70s single-story villa with 5 rooms and a kitchen that has been extra insulated and equipped with modern triple-glazed aluminum windows without ventilation. In the wet room, there is a bathroom fan that starts when the light is turned on and runs for approximately 10 minutes after the light is turned off.
"How is your house" inspection
When we visit the customer, we perform a "How is your house" inspection of the villa and measure the carbon dioxide level. The measurement will then likely show that several of the rooms have carbon dioxide levels in the upper range of 1200 - 2500 PPM. In addition, the heat does not spread to the room furthest down the corridor, and the air there feels stale.
Installation of Airmove products
We install Airmove fresh air vents in the bedrooms and one in the living room to ensure that fresh air enters the villa. We replace the bathroom fan with an Airmove Flow, which has a constant exhaust airflow and is very quiet. This way, the villa gets a constant exchange of air.
For the room furthest down the corridor, where the heat does not reach, we install an Airmove 1.1 air circulator. It creates a circulation tunnel and ensures that an airflow occurs both in and out of this room as well.
Cost and Benefits
An installation like this, fully installed, costs approximately SEK 12,000 after tax deduction for household services.
In addition to a much more pleasant and oxygenated living environment, in most cases, you also get better night sleep and a reduced risk of the negative health aspects that poor ventilation can entail.
