How does the heat spread from a wood stove?

Heat spread occurs through natural inflow into valves in walls, windows or through a mechanical ventilation system with supply air. Spent air leaves the house through exhaust valves in bathrooms, wardrobes, kitchens and WCs, either through self-drafting or with a mechanical exhaust system. If ventilation is inadequate, the air is stagnant, this is noticeable by mist forming on the windows, the air becomes musty and damp and when burning, the glass doors of the stove turn black from poor combustion.

If you want to maximize the function of the house with a wood burning stove, it is good to review the ventilation.  For example, an open floor plan makes it easier to spread the heat in the house, while a closed floor plan causes more problems to get the heat around.

Airmove can help you with ventilation and heat dissipation.
