Fresh Air Vents and Ventilation Advice

A prerequisite for fresh air to enter through the fresh air vent is that air can exit the house. A rule of thumb is that there should be a fresh air vent in every bedroom and living room. In the kitchen, air exits through the kitchen fan, and in the bathroom, air exits with the help of a bathroom fan. Air in the bedrooms, air out in the kitchen and bathroom.

Another important factor for fresh air vents to function optimally is that air can flow freely between all rooms.

A final tip is to let the bathroom fan run constantly, not just when humidity levels are high.

Placement of Fresh Air Vent / Supply Air Vent

The number of fresh air vents is determined by how many rooms there are in the house and the size of the rooms. The rule of thumb is to have one fresh air vent in every room except the kitchen and bathroom. If the room is larger than 25 sqm, two fresh air vents should be installed.

The fresh air vent should be placed a bit above a window, diagonally to the side for best results.

Airmove offers smart supply air vents

Airmove's vents are equipped with a temperature-sensitive and self-regulating thermostatic bulb that automatically adjusts the vent disc and adapts the air gap and airflow according to the outdoor temperature.
